The Cooleys
The Cooleys are one of my favorite repeat clients! I love watching the little ones grow year after year. They are still a hilarious riot! This time, we did a family photo session at the beautiful Black Hill Regional Park in Boyds, MD. We were able to get most of our photos done before the brutal summer sun got the best of us.
Philadelphia, City of Brotherly Love
My family and I met up with my husband's family in Philly over the holidays. I haven't been in Philly in a handful of years; after my sister-in-law moved out of the city, I had no reason to go back. Even though I have very fond memories of spending time with my sister-in-law and my husband in the City of Brotherly love, I admit--I was never a huge fan of the "gritty" city. Besides it being the setting of one of my all time favorite shows (Always Sunny in Philadelphia), I never had a very good impression of Flipadelphia. It seemed dirty and raw, and that's not my style.
Fast forward to 2016, and I was forced to eat my words! I fell in love with this city--from the cute, artistan, boutique gift shops to the array of cool, unpretentious restaurants spots, Philly has become one of my favorite U.S. cities to visit. My sister-in-law confirmed that Philly has indeed grown and matured in the past couple of years. It has really blossomed into its own, and boasts its unique flavor, distinct from its metropolitan neighbors--New York City and Washington, D.C.
So, this is my apology to Philadelphia for underestimating it. Looking forward to more visits!
The Noyes
For a mom of two young boys, Katie sure doesn't look like she's desperate for sleep. Katie and her husband, Eddie, welcomed their second son just 5 months ago, but you can tell they've got this parenting thing down pat. It also helps that big brother, Mac, is one sweet kid who loves his baby brother. I love how loving and warm this family of four is. Can't wait to see these two boys grow up and see what kind of mischief they get into!
